Following the WIND

Time to do less
Speak less
Insist on my way less

Time to listen

Following the WIND

Life, so they say
is but a game and
we let it slip away...
So I wanna laugh while the laughin' is easy
I wanna cry if it makes it worthwhile
We may never pass this way again...
~Seals and Crofts

Only gone for a short break, but I had to remove my art supplies because they are SO tempting. teehee
Be back soon, loves.

  2. I can't believe this...my comment was gobbled UP!

I wanted to say that I agree wholeheartedly with you my sister... we cannot create and be true to our "calling" unless we listen. I love what Sir Francis Bacon said about writing:

    Reading maketh a man full.
    Discussion maketh a man ready.
    Writing maketh a man exact.

Listening, observation, silence, and then proceeding with what we have gleaned is wisdom par excellence.

Come by if you have a moment; I too have just posted. Now off to finish off the red scarf! LOVE! Anita

  3. ...and I had added to my gobbled up comment that pulling away from all the noise of the outside world AND the expectations I PUT ON MYSELF is an exercise that I often forget to perform. Oh how life is such a good teacher! Anita

  4. I have to step away sometimes, too. I have so many things going on that I get overwhelmed. I sure love that sweet mermaid right in the middle of your photo! Enjoy your week...enjoy your life! Sweet hugs, Diane

  5. I've spent a lot of this weekend quiet and content. A few little forays out each day -- a critical one to the post office -- and lots of time breathing, thinking and being quiet. Wishing you peace and contentment.

  8. Good morning dear and wonderful sister!

Thank you SO MUCH for coming to view Koralee's book. It truly is a happy collection of all of her photography and quotes and HER OWN recipes for ice cream as well as small party ideas. She is a wonderful soul and you would LOVE every page of her book.

AND THANK YOU for liking the illustration I sent you...I will come back via email! And yes, I will never stop writing and trying to improve my focus. This is it....I feel that PEACE that will at least help drive me towards what I really believe is what I am supposed to be doing at this point.

    Blessings and BISOUS! Anita

  10. Follow your heart dear Marcia. When blogging stops being a pleasure we have to make changes. Your life, your family and you must decide to do what makes you happy. I will miss your sweet art and the lovely posts you are know for. I received my beautiful slipper in the mail and it now is displayed on The French Hutch. So lovely and I will always think of you when I see it. Who knows, maybe you will decide to post occasionally. Just follow your heart, wherever it takes you. I will miss these sweet posts! Stay in touch..........
    Blessings to you.

  12. Hi Marcia,
This is such a wonderful post and following the wind can give real balance. I am trying to do the same even when life seems so busy. I have decided I like to keep busy, but not if it takes me away from what is really important in life. So listening, keeping the balance and letting the wind lead, sounds like the perfect way to unclutter life.
Thank you for sharing. I hope you take care of you and your heart my friend.
    Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday.
    XO Blessings, Celestina Marie

The world would be a sweeter place if we all did this. I will be thinking about you, my precious friend, and you will be in my heart always.

  17. Good for you, Marcia. Sometimes we all need a break and need to step back from things and ourselves. This post reminded me of that verse: Be still and know that I AM God. :)
