I Resolve

New day
New season
New neighborhood

New doors to open,

New chapters to unravel

Isn't it exciting?
It always is when we are determined to never stop dreaming.
What are you dreaming of this year?

Some believe in resolutions.
Some don't.

I believe having goals and a clear vision is always a good thing,
As long as we allow ourselves a little room for road bumps.

And since a resolution is an intention and a determination, what would become of a dream or a goal without it? It's part of the stuff dreams are made of.

I resolve to dream more courageously,
To love more extravagantly.

"Write the vision
And make it plain..."
Habakkuk 2:2

  10. Love the first image! Would't ot be fun to live in a book? Being able to start fresh is a wonderful concept. Each day is a fresh start and we all should take advantage of that.

    Love,

  12. I have told my husband that one day I would love to go to New York and map out all the places of the movie You've Got Mail. I hadn't realized that her curtains were striped red and white. Her...like I know her...blush. Where do you find all of these great pics stolen in time? I love what you have done with the place. I bet your creative juices are flowing all anew! Loves! (p.s. I loved how she gave little suckers to the children.)

  13. Sorry, had to post again...I could sit for hours and imagine all the little things a little tiny person could do in that book village. Who would live there, what they would be doing if I were to peek inside...magical!

    1. I could sit and look at that picture for hours too, my friend. Since I often live there, I can tell you what goes on. We sing, we dance, we definitely create all sorts of magical gifts for one another, and my how we laugh. :) Come on in!!

  17. Hello, my sweet friend,
What a thoughtful post. It's good to find resolutions with the help of God's Word. I like the scripture you have included.
I hope you are having a wonderful week.

  18. Marcia, you continue to inspire me through this New Year. I went and read this verse Habakkuk 2:2 and more. It helped me to clarify some feelings and to reinvest in what I needed to be thinking in this 2013 year.

These books are so lovely to look at. They do take you to a magical place. Thanks for sharing<3
